Being connected is essential.

In today’s world, you absolutely have to be connected to people around you. And let’s face it, just using the telephone is not enough these days. Unfortunately like everything else, computers and laptops are pricey and not all of us can afford to buy something that is quickly becoming crucial. Laptop computers are probably the best option for people on the go. Being able to check your email or find directions in a pinch is priceless. And thankfully cheap laptops is here to help you get what you want at the best price possible. They are in partnerships with the best computer manufacturers in the business. With brands like Dell, Compaq, Sony, Toshiba, and many more to choose from. Cheap laptops is not only a fantastic place to buy laptops, they also offer all the accessories you need, with warranties covering any laptop you buy. You can easily navigate the site to find anything you need, and they also offer live help or an toll free number when you need expert advice on choosing the right product. What really stands out for me is the shipping prices, you cannot find better shipping costs anywhere on the Internet. Cheap laptops is the only site I will be browsing the next time I begin to look for a new laptop. When having a laptop that you can afford is a problem, cheap laptops provides the solution.

Kind of let down.

I have to say that Smallville’s 7th season finale wasn’t as exciting as I had hoped it would be. Maybe because I knew a few spoilers beforehand, but it didn’t leave me dying to see what happens. I do hope that the next season, the last apparently, steps up for the big finale. I want Clark to become Superman, or at least begin to accept who he is. Maybe now that Lana has told him that they do not belong together (finally!), he can realize that he is destined for so much more. I also hope Lois is in more episodes next season. She really brings a lot of talent to the show and she works very well with Clark.

Battlestar Galactica, on the other hand is really shocking me lately. The people who do that show are brilliant. I cannot believe this is the last season for what in my opinion is the greatest written show ever on television. I literally cannot wait for Friday night to see what happens. And who the hell is the final cylon???

A must see for horror fans!

If you are a fan of horror films like I am, then you have to check out this Trailer. The film is called Frontier(s), and is causing quite a stir with it’s shockingly different approach to the horror genre. I have seen all the recent so called shock horror films and I have to admit this movie looks like it will easily blow all of those out of the water. I am excited to see what the French have in store for us in what is a crowded marketplace in terms of horror films. Frontier(s) is in uncut form because the people at After Dark Films decided it should not be cut down just to receive an R rating, making the film NC-17. Which is an extremely brave move on the company’s part. Personally, I like to watch the uncut version of all movies, just to get a better feel for the director’s vision of the film. And thankfully no “cut” version of the movie exists. The movie looks to be causing a lot of controversy because it is an in your face kind of horror film. Not the kind of movie to back away from showing you the feelings that could be inside us all. Unfortunately, the movie will only be playing in select theater listing , however it is now on DVD. I doubt I will even rent this movie, buying it is more of an option for me and my friends. Frontier(s) looks to be one that we will be talking about for some time.

I went to see Ironman this weekend and the movie is fantastic, with excellent performances and brilliant direction. Robert Downey, Jr was born to do this role. He is so engrossing to watch, you just enjoy every second of him of screen. If the rest of the summer movies that I want to see – Indiana Jones, Dark Knight, X-Files, etc. – are this good, my blu-ray and dvd budget will be huge come Christmas time. I cannot wait to see Ironman again. I knew it would be good, you just cannot put a great director, amazing cast, and a good idea together and get it wrong. But I never thought I would like it this much. While not better than Batman Begins, it is wonderful in the same vain because the idea of getting actual talent to do a superhero movie is never going to be wrong in my opinion. It makes me wish that DC comics films would get the same treatment as Marvel’s has. Besides Batman Begins, no other DC comic is done well for the big screen. Superman needs a reboot with someone who gets the concept. I found myself wishing throughout Ironman that someone like Favreau would take over the Superman legacy, because while not only being the world’s greatest and most powerful hero, Superman has always been my favorite of all the heroes. And who knows what will happen with the Justice League movie they were supposed to be making, because that was the worst cast list I have ever heard of for a movie. ;)

On a similar note, Smallville will be so very different for its last season. Michael Rosenbaum will be vacating the show for what seems like the whole season, Kristin Kreuk will not be in most of the season, and no one knows what will happen with Allison Mack. I only hope that Erica Durance will get more episodes than in previous seasons because I love the dynamic she has with Tom Welling. I do have hope that things will be different because the guys who created the show will also be gone next season, so perhaps we will see a Clark closer to Superman and less misery from the guy.
