I heard today that they will release the X Files sequel on Video on Demand and in theaters simultaneously. How cool is that? I will of course see it in theaters multiple times but you can also get it in your home as well? Not only is this the movie I have been waiting for for YEARS but having at my house will be pretty darn great as well.
I have seen some pics and a video from the filming and they are incredible. It seems like a miracle has happened that this movie is even being made. And only waiting until the summer can’t be that hard can it?

I could spend all day & night watching Christmas type shows and movies all through December. It is kind of ridiculous how much I enjoy these programs. I guess it is the feeling of the holidays that does it for me. I will even watch that awful Brady Bunch all-grown-up tv movie simply because it is centered around Christmas. That is love for a holiday – putting up with the Brady Bunch.
Almost finished shopping. Just have to buy some more things for my little angelic dog. She adores opening gifts on Christmas morning and honestly there is little I enjoy more than giving her gifts to open.

It is not even the 24th yet and I am already kind of down about the holidays being over. I love the entire Christmas season. I love the hope and excitement; wondering who to buy for and what to get them. I am a sucker for the whole holiday scene. I feel like it goes by so fast though, and for a couple of months after I suffer a post-holiday lull. It is hard to describle why I enjoy it so much I just do.
But who doesn’t love to receive also? I know I cannot wait to get my huge box set of the new “Blade Runner” edition that came out yesterday. That will be so worth the wait.

It is like Christmas came a week early for me. Lost will be back on Jan 31!! I was really thinking it would return in February. I don’t know why they changed their minds but I am so very ready to see Jack again. I am anxiously awaiting my Season 3 dvds (they are a Christmas gift thankfully). So that I can be all caught up before they bring it back. Now if only the studios would get on the stick and settle the writers’ strike, things would be right in the tv/movie world again.
Also, Smallville’s fall finale was great. The ending was totally unexpected, though not for me as I am a spoiler freak. I am anxious to see what happens when they come back to Clark. Should be interesting as another terrific villain comes back to the show.

But I am not happy about this technology right now because starting yesterday Warner Brothers is showing the prologue for “The Dark Knight” only in Imax theaters before “I am Legend”. So I would basically have to travel for a couple of hours just to see this. In a word, it sucks. I thought about making the trip because I do enjoy Will Smith movies but since I heard some things about his dog in the film I decided not to see it. Which means no prologue. And that, my friends, sucks.
